School of Visual Arts Pre- College Program (Week One):
I was given the privilege to be a Teacher's Assistant to thirteen talented High School Students from around the country. The class was a typography class taught by Benita Raphan (http://www.benitaraphan.com/). During the first week I was able to create and teach a lesson. My lesson was to create a book cover that was an autobiography about yourself using ONLY type. The students were able to hand draw there own type, collage existing type, or create it all digitally. I hope you enjoy the results as much as I did.

Series of Timeless Classic Books
For a Thesis, I decided to take five classic books, which I felt all taught timeless lessons and created a book series. There is a humanly element on each cover to go with the theme of emotions and lessons learned. I also re-designed the first two pages of each book.
This was a semester long project. I studied each book and the period it was written in depth.
